We have heard, read and wrote about ‘Unity in diversity’ since 1938. Among many versions of this, Michael Novak (1983) brought an interesting aspects about it, “Unity in diversity is the highest possible attainment of a civilization, a testimony to the most noble possibilities of the human race. This attainment is made possible through passionate concern for choice, in an atmosphere of social trust.” But the question is, ‘How free are we in the decisions that we make?’ For example the the financial strength of ICICI bank in 2008, customers withdrew or brought panic – simply because they had heard that this is what other people were doing. The phenomenon is called herd instinct.
There is another interesting collective behavior is seen known as ‘Swarm Intelligence’ or also known as ‘Ant Algorithms’. If we see that ants moving in a colony appear to be moving randomly from far; from closer a pattern can be seen. The ‘Swarm’ finds the shortest route to reach the food, allocates tasks and defend territories. Based on this theory variety of problems related to logistics are solved such slot allocation at airports, truck routing and others. The question here is, does this theory applicable for groups of people? As this may not taken into account of human side or group thinking. This theory can be partially right for homogeneous group to reach conclusion. In heterogeneous group attitudes can become radical and actions rash. How does one deal with such situation? Does it paralyse the organsiation?

“Because he loves me”, says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him for he acknowledges his name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” 14:16 Psalm 91

A Road Map had an interesting elements of innovate kind of methodology used to learn and deliver. The Score Card Tool brought many aspects; and perhaps eye opener to students and industry. Customized ‘Jugemental Tool’ was another to gauze on situational and scenario conditions for a Road Map. Thank you all for participating!

I am not here to write review of recently interesting horror movie Ek Thi Daayan. But I will take reference of “Good versus Evil” or “Why Bad Things Happen?” Believers in God will believe that its testing time – faith in God. The question non-believer or rational thought people might ask, Why does the God allows the evil? Believers will say that its difficult to understand God’s plan. May be wants us to know HIS plan. “There is no searching His understanding.” (Isaiah 40:28).
I am talking all this is, What seems to be the result of our own careful planning would never happen without the Lord allowing it. I am perhaps never got carried by the materialistic things; perhaps many work performance reward never made me excited. This also explained me that Good (God) never wants evil things to happen. The grief or suffering is nothing but the ultimate expression of the Divine love for mankind. “Love and Compassion” are ultimate weapon to heal all the agony, pain or sufferings to teach generation to come and they would say or remember about us as – Ek Thi or Tha…!
God bless you all!
Some story impressions leave a strong, memorable and some fade in no moment. A recent travel on road got me introduced to an interesting short-note learning, from a person seated next to me. After a typical conversation for awhile, the topic of love was one among it. Person feel falling in love and moving on isn’t difficult yet all. Did this dazzle some of us? Perhaps yes, the person said an interesting note towards end of this topic – “I find it strange for people hanging on past; there is abundant love out there”. Perhaps the world is divided equally to balance this view.
This reminded me DDLJ movie liner “Come fall….in love”. There is something between these two words; that’s perhaps “Past” 🙂 .

HE will cover you with his HIS feathers, and under HIS winds you will find refuge Psalm 91:4
Until the 1980s the radical changes in the organizations were usually dictated from the top management. The management made the decision, and the middle and bottom levels worked to reach the objectives or implemented it. These changes at (many) times were understood by employees and future expectations were unclear. The early 2000s has seen psychology in business that, employees would like to know ‘Why are we doing that?’, this scenario is likely to be seen has less submissive. The change needs to be defined if it has to be carried out effectively. There are several models talking about change management but it still doesn’t address that any change is rarely a painless process. Any change is likely to cause friction. Friction is likely to cause some degree of pain. This to conclude that any change requires scarifies and effort.
The question we leave to you all is: if we want change, are we prepared to bear the pain that comes with it ourselves?
