This was another great work by the author. This book is a typical eye opener. It has 4 short stories of women and the tragedies revolving around them,. how they overcome them.
This books shows the reality of how women were treated back then in olden days(maybe even now at few places), how the traditions, customs, hardships forced a girl, a lady, a women to become prey. A women, broken dreams, shattered life, deprived freedom, suicidal thoughts.
This book really touches your heart and can rip you apart. I was so emotional when I reached the last page. I am looking forward to read such eye opener stories. I highly recommend this book to everyone out there though most of you guys hate Indian writing.

The book changed my mind. It changed my perspective. The author made sure to leave a deep impact on the readers’ minds. She: Ekla Cholo Re is the first book that I have read based on the story of the third gender. A refreshing read altogether. Recommending to all !!
